She will be accompanied by the leading orchestra in the Bay Area - Asha Ramesh (vocal), Narayan Natarajan (mridangam) and Shanthi Natarajan (violin). தாங்கள் தங்கள் குடும்பத்துடன் வந்திருந்து எங்களை கௌரவித்து குழந்தையை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி வேண்டிக் கொள்கிறோம்.

Bharatanatyam Arangetram

Bharatanatyam is a classical South Indian dance that combines intricate footwork (नृत्त , nritta) and soulful storytelling (अभिनय, abhinaya). It originated thousands of years ago, in the Natya Sastra, authored by the sage Bharata. This dance form is unique in its use of geometric precision, rhythmic complexity and a distinctive language of gestures set to classical Indian (carnatic) music.

Arangetram, from Tamil, represents the ஏற்றம் (etram, ascent) to the அரங்கம் (arangam, stage), by a dancer. In this concert-length solo public recital, the dancer demonstrates mastery of the Bharatanatyam மார்கம் (margam, the Way).
